I have a gravely belt drive wb. One of the newer style, 15 horse 48" cut. The tires that came on it are sliding every where, with just over a hundred hours on it. Any reccomendations on a replacement tire? I want some thing with som grip and traction. I am tired of no grip, trying to go up hills, make turns and holding hills. They did good when new but now have no grip. So any suggestions? Brand? style? i think mine are 16x6.50-8

I have the same unit. I actually upped the size of the tire as well as a different tread design. I went to an 18x6.5 and use the Carlisle Turf Master. MUCH better traction. It does throw off the height adjustment a bit and it will run faster due to the larger tire but the ride is smoother and I've been very satisfied with the tread design. If you stick with the 16" tire definitely check out the Turf Master anyway.

Carlisle is a pretty good all around tire for almost any type of turf equipment
