First of all I know this is not ebay or auto trader. I wanted to give some of you guys a chance on a great deal.

I don't want to seem ungrateful and unappreciative. I really don't need this truck. If you were at the expo 2000 and saw the Ford truck that was given away, well this is it.

I want to thank the fine folks at the expo and will be a regular at the show.

The truck is a 2000 Ford 150 supercab 2 wheel drive pickup truck.
It has XLT package and is Ext cab. It has a 4.2 liter V6 5 speed trans. It also has towing package.

This truck has only 194 miles.

I am asking $18250.00 for a truck that list for over $22,500.00

If you are interested you can E-mail me @ mardoug55@hotmail.com or you can call 606-365-3612.
I can also send pictures if I can figure out how to do it over the internet.

can't believe they put a stick shift in a truck meant for towing........
If it was a 4x4 I'd love to see someone plow with it :)
    Congrats on your win!
  5. Full size trucks with manual transmissions are about as hard to get rid of as herpes.

    LOL! I didnt know they still considered a F150 a full-size truck.

Good luck selling that truck, supercab with 6 cyl stick is one white elephant. Most buyers would either want an exceptional deal or just get it from the dealer the way they want it.

Try selling it back to a Ford dealer before you get stuck with insurance, property tax, registration bills. Im sure your state is going to be banging on your door with a hand out looking for the sales tax.

And when you sell it put some of that money aside as you will be recieving a 1099 form in the mail next January.

I went out and got 18400.00 for the truck on a trade in to a 4x4 chevy 2000 auto ext cab. Got paymnets at 200.00. and as for the 1099. My tax prepare told me that there is a one time win fall deduction of 19,000.00. So I able to take this. As for the 200.00 payment. can take it off taxes and let my wife drive it.

You got to remember that lawn care at this time is a side line business. That I hope to make full time one day, but until then I will keep the day job at 39,000 plus bonus and they furnish a 2500 4x4 3/4 ton 98 ext cab chevy to drive to work.

Well enough of this. The truck is sold and I am happy with the new one.

Whats wrong with pulling or plowing with a manual?? Its not that hard, believe me!! You guys make it sound like its impossible to plow with a stick, you get used to it really quick and I eneded up liking it a lot better actually. I don't know, just sticking up for our base model trucks I guess!! :)

    Congrats on your lucky win!!

" My tax prepare told me that there is a one time win fall deduction of 19,000.00."

Correct, but it a) doesnt apply to motor vehicles, and b) you need to claim the sales price of any section 179(I think thats the number) deduction if you sell it before its usual depreciation period is up.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Either your preparer didnt fully explain it to you, or you should think about a different preparer next year.
