You guys may have seen my dilema over on the landscaping forum. Customer has a EFIS home.Hired a Mexican to do the work.EFIS is still below grade and they call me.My first thought is a French drain. After further investigation,it was looking more like a "rip it all out and start over"deal. So I call a friend who is a general contractor. He says it's an easy fix and they'll help, but it'll be 3-6 weeks before they can get to it. Well,I let the customer know this is the cheapest way to get the job done and explain what all needs to be done.(They're selling their home and just want it to pass inspection)Tonight I get a call from the customer saying basically,"thanks, but no thanks">It appears that now that they know what to do they're getting the Mexican to do it. Now for the even better part.I mow their lawn.I'm loosing money because I underbid it when I started.I wonder if this is standard operating proceedure for these folks? So,would you raise their rates for mowing?Keep in mind I'm not swamped with accounts, but I'm also not hurting for money.
