Is the Irrigation Assoc. Certification for Certified Irrigation Contractor worth going after? There is class time and a test involved. I thought it would be a great idea to have to add on as an advertzing edge.

You do not have to take the class. Test is simple (at least I thought so...). Spelling is not on the test, but it would help in your advertising edge...

    Of course it is.

    Is learning important to you?

Is seperating yourself from your competition important?

You will be qualified to bid on jobs that require certification.

You cannot go wrong by completing the course and gaining your certification.

Not to mention the satifaction of personal achievment.

For states without licensing , if it ever comes around . Your local and the national IA will work to get CIC,s grandfathered.
And as others have said , nothing wrong with education.

In Texas I see no reason to do IA stuff. Maybe that will change. We have ceu requirements and a license requirement. Our ceu classes tends to pertain more to our local situation. More than likely the IA has been taken over by MANIFOLD ALIENS from the OUTER LIMITS.

We are holding them hostage until you bow to our ways of the Dark Side.

Another reason for this country to thank the good Lawd for Texas.

As we like to say, " I was born an American but by the grace of God I'm a Texan."
