Hey guys, one of my friends ran into this today... its a baby, very small, but what is it?
there's only one kind of good snake.......a dead one.
There's one guy I know that would be able to answer that.
one that you decapitate with the wacker. looks like a coral snake.
It looks like a Ring Neck. I can't tell from the picture how big it is, but Ring Necks are small, with an orange ring around their neck and have an orange belly. They are harmless.
I second that!
Thanks guys... just goes to show how good the UMASS extension website is, didn't even have Ring Neck listed, but yes, it had an orange belly. I was worried its mother was gonna sniff it out and come looking for me
I agree with Bob...looks like a ringneck to me, too. Harmless.
that is to big to be a ring neck they only get 8-10 inches tops and their ring is never that big.
