is that a cat dozer?
i'de take if its close by and you have means of hauling it out... are you a diesal mechanic to fix that thing
Are they giving you the dozer or the Kudzu.LOL
Looks like a D4 size Cat. I think I would look it over pretty good before I decide to accept this gift. Nothing cheap to fix on one of those machines. Still with the price of scrap steel the machine is still worth something.
are they giving the motor grader away 2?
you'de be doing this guy a big favor cleaning up his junk, thats for sure!
How the hell can you guys tell what it is? LOL Looks like a giant shrub with some metal at the top.
going out on a limb here but I believe the machine is a loader instead of a dozer.
On what it is and what kinda shape its in.. I could go further and say, where is it, and how much history is known about it.. USUALLY people don't just leave a good dozer just sitting around to be a trellis...
Davis, you gotta have more of an imagination than that
look at the tracs and the roof and the exhaust pipe coming up....
NOPE!Not a chance.
I think it is a Cat D4 circa 1965 maybe. The story goes that a company was building the road parked it there and left it. 10 years later they went out of business (1978). It is considered abandoned and ownership defaults to the land owners. It is mine if I want it.
