I'm Glad I lost that bid!!!

    Did an estimate the other day. As I was leaving I realized how low I actually bidded. I really fubbed that one up. Anyways, He told me he had another crew coming by later in the day to bid, and now 2 days down I have had no call. So I'm glad that he didn't because I would have screwed myself. Have any of you run into a situation like this before?

    Yeah, the only difference is that I won those bids! I didn't screw myself, just left money on the table, but my mistakes are still profitable and have proven to be some of best sellers on additional stuff like hedge trimming, sod jobs, etc. All - in all not complaints here. Just more experienced with each mistake in bidding.
