I took a good hard look at how these last months as to how business is going and made a decision to contact some very good friends of mine to see if they had a need for me in some fashion. They were going to call me the same day to ask if I had any time...LOL! I am working as of Monday as Landscape Manager for a great company. They do not see a problem at all with me still operating The Lighting Geek as jobs come in and I have time. We all feel this is a synergistic relationship since I already was promoting them for tree pruning and biological enhancements with each lighting job. They and I feel both will benefit and help each other through this economic time. I am telling you this to demonstrate that you don't necessarily have to give up your lighting to secure income in these times. You might need to think out of the box though. Opportunities are out there, but don't wait until winter is here to make a change if you need to.
