i am about to buy a new w/b mower i am debating between a 36 or 48 in mower. i will have to deal with quite a bit of fences around 1/3 of my lawns should i buy a 48 and use the 21 in the back yards or purchase a 36 and be able to mow the whole lawn with that? thanks

I would go with the 36". That way you can use it for the customers that need it and you can still cut the others quickly (although not quite as fast as a 48").

How big are the back yards? Are they small enough to efficiently cut with a 21"? Or are they good size back yards, just with small gates? My opinion, go with the 36". That way you don't have to unload the 48", mow the front, and then unload the 21" and mow the back at a slower, smaller rate of speed.

Thats a very tough call I think i would lean towards the 36 if most of the lawns are small and if more were larger go with the 48-21 combo. I'm not sure if this advice was that much help..lol..sorry
