In general, what are the top 3 walk behind mowers? 48" Belt-Driven

    In general, what are the top 3 walk behind units? (48" Belt Drive) Please give specific Make & Model #

    48" belt drive?

    The only one I'm buying in that configuration would be a Toro with the Turbo Force deck and a T-bar.

    And I wouldn't even buy a belt drive anyhow.

    In your opinion would you choose "Exmark" WalkBehind, or "Toro Walkbehind?" It seems like the units are similar? Is this a Toyota/Lexus scenario? ie) Basically same unit, with different labels?

    do yourself a favor, spend the extra money and buy a hydro. As far as brand almost anything is better then the best belt drive.

    I have a 48 Husqvarna belt drive.............get a hydro. Wish I knew then what I know now. Oh well, it get's the job done, but it could be so much easier.

    Get the hydro, the only belt you should have is around your waist!:laugh:

    I got a quote of about 2900 for one with pistol grips, so if i had to guess you'd be looking at 31 or 3200
