Running a Grasshopper 720K. Replaced my tires end of last season and haven't been pleased with their performance (20 x 10 Carlisle "turf savers"). I mainly cut St. Augustine and Bermuda and have been leaving burnouts when I hadn't before. And no I don't drive like Dale Ernhardt.

Was wondering who's had good results with what brands on their mowers.

I had the same problem with Carlyle tires when I was running a Gravely with 20-10-10 tires. What I ended up doing was to put 23-12-12 wheels and tires off of an old Sears Suburban lawn tractor on, with the original style lawn tread on them, it kind of looks like diamond shaped tread. Of course, you'll have to adjust rear deck height if you change the rolling diameter of the wheel/tire. A couple of places to google search: Gemplers, inc., McCord tires.:waving: :waving:

Thanks for the info. I'll have to look into it.

I run the Carlisle "Turf Masters". They are a LOT better tread design. Honestly one of the best there is... Last a long time too. The turf savers are lawn tractor quality at best...
