informing customers of specials or upcoming jobs

    What is your preferred method of notifying customers of specials, "please mark your irrigation for aeration", applications, upsales, etc. I usually do typed up page of things like that and leave in the mailbox. Got a call for the post office warning me it wasn't legal. I'm solo and do most of the work myself and find it more efficent and easier to get my point across to do a hand out. that way the customer can look it over tell me to do it or call and ask questions. Plus on my route i'm going to their house anyway.

    Guess i will have to play the phone tag game now. What about just sticking it in their door?
