Did a pretty neat inlay this past summer. The customer left the job up up to us, so by september i had gotten pretty tired of laying plain patios or circle kit inlays, so i did this.....lemme know what you guys think. Its about a 12 foot diameter circle with 9x14 rectangles.

Crapsmanshit looks good to me, but bery busy paturn. What is the thought behind the inlay design?

For me, an inlaid border would have been more interesing, less destractive and probly less expense for the customer.:)

The idea behind it is to more or less just brake up the 860 square of same-o same-o random pattern.

Does that pavement meet the side of the house? If so, possbly, you could have installed a sofscape bed between the house and pavement?

no scaping in between the house and patio, they had that on the old brick patio we ripped out and didn't like it. they wanted max square footage.

here's what i was talking about with circle kits. We did this one in april, and did about 20 others after that......It really started to get old, but people love the circle inlaid on a random pattern.

At least it was a round table. I had one customer try to make a large rectangle table work and it wasn't happenin! haha.
