Insect Egg Question

    Found an insect egg under a sassanqua camellia leaf today. It looks like a hair root and about 1/8" of hair stuck into the leaf. Any ideas?

    could be a parasitic wasp egg, usuall large numbers grouped together. Some moth species lay eggs that way as well.
