Yeah... Storage facilities are okay... We did it for a while...I was plowing and cutting the grass for rent...Finally got tired of unloading and loading every morning and night so we bought our own shop.
    Best investment.
We have a 40' Container for the off season stuff and 6000sq ft of inside space.. works out good

I'm hoping that the 1000 sq. ft. garage I want to put up will be adequate. I am still just a one man band.

Unload at the end of every day. Not worth getting things stolen off the trailer. One day I would love to own a shop big enough to drive 4-5 trucks and trailers into and just park them....

I keep all of my equipment in an enclosed trailer. When I would get home late in the evening and was tired and didn't put tarp on it would rain. when I did take the time to tarp it it wouldn't rain for a week+. I found a great deal on CL for a 7x16 enclosed v-nose trailer and scooped it up. I have not regretted it since.

My whole trailer goes in the garage for now.

Lots of guys in my area rent a storage space large enough to park their trailer in.

"Lock it up or lose it" isn't as good as "out of site, out of mind" for our local theifs

My trailer stays parked on one side of my garage because my HOA won't allow any trailers parked outside. I'm running out of space in the garage though. I plan on buying a new 21"er, a reel mower, a new 36" WB mower, and a skid sprayer over the winter so I'm not sure where I'm gonna put it as of now. I may be renting a storage unit next year to keep some stuff. Or We'll have to park both vehicles outside.

Your drive sounds like mine. I'm out in the back 40 with a 400'+ driveway uphill all the way. I don't get too worried about stuff being taken. It's locked anyhow.

Indoors is the only place that I would consider storing my equipment.

Tarp during the season and the shed the rest of the year
