Other then mowing, when someone wants there beds weeded, edged and mulch, or they want all of pruning and trimming, or aeration done.

What are your steps of action towards this and what kinda papers do you have them sign before peforming the work?

**keep in mind its a one time thing and not on a complete maintenance agreement**

They sign a contract with desciption of work to be performed and the amount owed upon completion, for a 1 time clean-up or aeration what ever they may want.

Buy 3 part "Proposal" forms at Staples. Write up a general description of what you will do. i.e. " Weed, edge & mulch all beds on property. Prune all shrubs as necessary. Removal of all debris included.
Payment: --% deposit with signed proposal. Balance due upon completion.
    Price good for 30 days.

Or, with my regular customers, I quote them an hourly rate, and charge time and material. This works out great when you can do it.
