I just had an insurance agent give me a bid on a $1 mil general liability plan. He said that it would be $1250 a year. That includes the equipment ($11,000 worth). That sounds a bit high. What do ya'll think?

Sounds OK to me .... in FL ....the bulk of the premium is based on number of employees'

    fore me 3 full time 2 part time .....n $35k on equip .... with a $500 deduct is $1650 ... $1M

My truck commercial with State Farm is $1600 per truck ...but I just got commercial insurance with Progressive on another business truck of mine which is $1400 yearly .... so I'll be switching over all of em to save $200 per year

I live in Tennesse and just got a quote for basically the same thing. $1M general liability and 20K for equipment. The quote was for $920 and Travelers was the underwriter.
