Just received an insurance quote for a million in liability for $1500. Wondering if this is high, low, or sounds about right. (Business is a partnership mowing about 50 properties) Thanks, Mark

I'm paying $348/yr on 1 mil liability with coverage for equipment - granted, I don' t have a lot of equipment at this point, but you know, you have to start somewhere.:)

I carry general liability through Erie at $298 for one million in coverage. I also carry 6K in equipment protection through the same company for $80.00 more per year.

Me too. I carry $100,000 in liability and have about $4000 in equipment ultra-scheduled which means if it is stolen or wrecked they replace it at full cost with $250 deductible for $618 yr. Sounds like that is high if you guys are getting $1mil for less. I use Safeco Insurance.

Sounds way too high. I pay $248 for 1 million in liablity, no equipment. They gave me a better deal becuase my family has everything else with them. The other company;s would not even touch me because i am 16.
