You will want to get general liability insurance, about a million dollars worth if you are going to be serious about your business. Now keep in mind I said you will want to get this incase of an emergancy, I dont think it is required by law for you to have it. I do highly recommend it because rocks fly from underneath these mowers, pebbles get flung by line timmers all the time, and it seems like windows are a magnet for rocks at high speed.

To be safe just cover your a$$!!!

One Mill coverage. No its not always the law but you will have a really hard time finding jobs if you don't have it. Also if you have workers you will need workers comp. If you just do residential to start all you really need is $300,000. Good Luck and Welcome to Lawn Site!:waving:

About how much does the Comp insurance cost??? also, How do you go about getting unemployment insurance. How much is that, or is it part of the taxes????
