For mowing can you add the date of service easily?
    For example:

    Date Job Price
    May 2nd Mow, Trim & Blow $25.00
    May 9th Mow, Trim & Blow $25.00
    May 16th Mow, Trim & Blow $25.00
    May 23rd Mow, Trim & Blow $25.00
    May 30th Mow, Trim & Blow $25.00

As I was playing around on it I saw there was nothing that looked like that.

On the invoice, just above where the total is shown, you can see a blue "more details" link. Click on it and the item lines in the invoice switch to "Service Date" and "Property". If you click on the Service Date field in the line, you can enter the date of service there. To get back to a normal view, click on blue "Back To Pricing" link above the total.

Yes, you can set different service dates on each invoice line. I've updated this FAQ to include the screenshots.

I am looking to create a report that tells me if individual properties are profitable or not. For each customer, I need to be able to see a history of the time that was spent on the property and the amount that was billed. I would also like to be able to see and average time that was spent per property over a specific time period - say 1 year.

    ie. Ms. Smith
    Average time - .75 hours
    Number of services - 17
    Price per service - $35
Total price for all services - $595
    Average $ per man hour - $46.67

    Hi PTP,

You can use Yardbook's Job Costing Report to calculate the total cost for a particular job or jobs on a property. Here is an FAQ with more details:

Feel free to email our support team at support@yardbook.com if you have any additional questions.

    Hello,

Last night I sent out my first round of invoices using Yardbook. We sent around 70. We followed the invoice up with a normal e-mail from our company gmail address telling our clients we are using new software and to check their junk mail folder if they didn't get an invoice. About 1/3 of our clients so far have told us they didn't get their bill and that it's not in their junk mail folder either.

To me this is a huge 5 star all hands on deck issue that needs to be figured out asap. If there is a fix for this issue on my end please let me know. The account that my Yardbook is attached to is a gmail account.

I appreciate any help or input.

    Hi Cedar Lawn Care,

Yardbook uses SendGrid to deliver emails to your clients. Their service is reliable, and have been used by many other Internet companies like Pinterest and Spotify. Once an email is sent, Sendgrid notifies Yardbook when an email has been delivered / opened by the recipient, you can track the status of each email within Yardbook. Here is a link to the FAQ.

Please contact our support team with your account information and we can help you track the status of your emails.

First off let me tell you how much I am loving Yardbook!!! It is really simplifying my business. I have a request, or maybe it is there and I dont know how to use it...

Can I set a due date instead of NET 7, 14, 30 etc? I would like to say invoice is due May 15th...

With that, Is there a way to have Yardbook send an automatic reminder to a customer that has not paid yet when the bill is late, example 12:01 AM May 16th, Yardbook send an auto notice that your invoice is past due?

I am not sure if this would be helpful to others, but I am a part time solo operation so as much help as I can get on the Admin part of the business is alway appreciated.

    Hi Golfjoe,

Thanks for the suggestions. I believe I’ve seen some of these requests from other users as well. I’ll make sure they are on our list of potential enhancements for the future.
