i will be installing some irrigation in my yard and was wondering if anyone can tell me how to do this or if there is a sight that tells you how. also its a 55'x65' open area wondering how many heads i should use. anything would be help full. plus thought that it would be some good experience thought about adding irrigation to my company next year.

Jon gave you a good starting point with that web site. You'll find that the number of sprinklers will depend on your amount of water at your point of connection, what pressure you can expect at each head and what type of sprinkler you install. There is no quick answer although many things come to us real quick. Most of us can look at a piece of property and have it planned out in our heads in just a few minutes. However, we'll also design it out on paper to insure that everything works within the known parameters of irrigation hydraulics.
