Is 18 HP enough on a 44" Exmark???

    I looking at an 18HP Exmark with 44" deck. Is this enough power for everyday commercial use. I would like some help please. thanks

    Yes. Didn't know they had an 18Thought it came with a 17 or 19

    i agree, heck i used to cut with a simpliicty tractor 16hp/48' deck back in the day, sure it bogged down in tall grass, which i always cut, but 18hp on 44" is fine.

    My Ferris has a 21hp/48" deck and its plenty, my 27hp kohler 61" deck Ferris feels more powerful under load though.

    yeah that will be plenty of power, my 48" walk behind mowers have the 15hp kaw v-twin and they will go through just about anything.

    plenty of power, just have to match speed to cutting
    conditions. sharp blades, etc....
