According to their site, the correct and current filter number is 49065- 0734. It will work in place of the 0724 filter. This is for most of their engines, though there is a separate oil filter/number for certain models of engine-

I gave up just got a 7024 ....The book that came with the motor didn't even have the part # in it .Kawi really needs to go thru their part #'s. Pretty sure they're all kinda the same but not all.... But what do i know...
