Is May the best time to reseed bermuda?

    I heard it was and was gonna make sure.

    Also,How long does Bermuda seed need to germinate?and Is it ok to mow after I reseed or should I wait awhile?

    Bermuda needs night time temps above 65 consistently to germinate. Takes 21 days to germinate. Some of the newer blends may have that # cut back by a few days to a week but don't expect it to pop in a few days like rye. need to keep it moist so you will need to lightly compost/mulch or have the sprinklers come on 2-3 times per day. Repeat after me; SOD

    WOW!!21 days.Theres no way i can let my bermuda go uncut that long.
