Is there still a need for a 36inch Walkbehind?

There's a big difference in the 30's and 21's. Many complaints and problems. No way they're going to last like a 36wb. And if/when you're done with the 36 its worth something.

As long as 36 to 40 inch gates remain the industry norm there will be plenty of 36"s to choose from. Personally I'm disappointed Gravely discontinued the EVO 36, compact like a stander, comfortable like a rider without the Wright price tag.

I'd keep it just for back up purposes if nothing else. If your main mower goes down mechanical or if you damage it for whatever reason you will have a usable alternative at your disposal.

I am using a 36 hydro WB, I would never buy one new because they are slow for the money but this mower over all is gold and I love it. I prefer it over a 36 stander for versatility. the biggest problem with a 36 is 2 blades do not mulch well compared to 3.

36" Snapper Pro WB. Don't leave home without it.

That I will give you, the 30s seem to have a lot of problems.

21" honda, 36" Turf Tracer and 52" V-ride, hard to beat that combo.

Having used the Honda, I would replace it with the Exmark or Toro 21, but that is just me.
