Average...No big saving, or anything. It is mostly Rye, which is a cheap grass seed, anyway.

So what are decent prices for cool season grass seeds?

Home Depot has 20 pound bags of Tall Fescue blends for $40 some others for $36 for 20# bag

Make sure it isn't Kentucky 31 (Tall Fescue) if you are buying it at a regular store.

For a cool season grass I would recommend a TURF Type Tall Fescue (TTTF) or a TTTF/KYB blend.

Depending on where you are and how much rain you get this is an awesome mix.

If you get adequate rainfall or your customer is irrigating then you could go with KYB/PR.

I think it will be cheaper if you buy in the 50# bags and you should pay somewhere between $1.28-1.45/#.

I use all Lesco seed but am trying Jacklin this year also.
