Hi, I have 2007 Isuzu NPR GAS transmission is not shifting.

Anyone ever experience the gear is not shifting, no drive or reverse for couple of minutes then drive normally. my truck has 160k miles on it.

    Thanks for any help.

Sounds like really bad news. It's delayed engagement. Currently dealing with same issue on a ford. Been to 2 transmission shops and dealer. All said "new transmission" 192k miles. Not going to be cheap on Isuzu.

Have you checked the codes, or fluid? Anything blinking? Feel any shutters? See any leaks?

Mines doing the same thing. 2008 with 150,000 miles.
It’s at the tranny shop right now getting a new one. $3000

A lot of the NPR gas use a gm 4l60e/4l80e platform and these are very good trans. This could be a siliniod or a pump problem. What year is your NPR? And also you can see what it's doing in those moment by watch this live data( or pids) through the scanner so you need to find somebody you trust to advise you.

I’ve got an international that does that
Not shifting right now... come back and try it again later when I feel like coming off my coffee break
