It rained today......

    We got 6 hours of steady rain today........... I don't know the amount yet but it was a beautiful thing......

    We've been really dry in west cectral Illinois until the last 2 days.
    We ended up with 6 1/2". I guess I better fill the fuel tanks...

    Sprinkled twice this afternoon. Was really weird because the sidewalks were so warm (HOT) you could see the rain falling, but it didn't leave drop marks (okay, wet spots) on the concrete. Only got enough to raise the humidity.
    We need rain. Not as dry as some of you, but this is the first time in four years I didn't mow a single lawn all week.
