Hmm.... Thay sould grow some Veggies up there, and have a home grown menu....

Looks intresting tho, would be kinda cool to do the trimming there. just have a loader or some other equip. to get stuff up and down from there.... a ladder or stairs wouldnt work for mulching....
I love seeing gardents/plantings in the most unusual places.

    Pretty cool looking.

I know some companies get asked to do penthouse gardens on top of high raise buildings and what not. In NYC, its pretty common. They will even go as far as bringing a bobcat in and using a crane to get it up on the roof.

Defintely a 'niche' market that would be fun to be in.

in Germany. There are at least 3 house on my street with either grass or a garden and flowers growing on their roofs.

The yards here are not very big, plus they say it's a good insulation.

Everything here is overbuilt with Stone, so weight is usually not a concern.

You figure on that resteraunt, maintenance wouldn't be that bad because your only going up there once a month at the most. It wouldn't kill you with a ladder.

You could even mount something up there to attatch a pully to every time you go so you can haul up buckets to the roof.
