In my area that is a decent price. I ran mine last summer for 6200 with 178 hours and had a lot of calls off of it.

Then it would have to be a very early, i.e. Sept '03 make of an '04 because the warranty is 2 years. It's not a bad price, but since it is out of warranty I'd try and get them down a little more maybe. I believe an '06 737 is about $6900-7200 for me. I own a lot of JD Z's and know alot of the dealers here in NC where I see you are also if I can help with any dealer questions.

I bought mine for $3500.00 in 10-2005 124 hours and still under warranty. I had a call from a guy who was Trading his mower in at a jd dealership in Raleigh, He offered it to me for $4500.00, 737 23 kawasaki 400 hours just like mine, warranty runs out in may. I think the dealer's offer was lower, I need a 717 or 727 for smaller yards so I didn't bother

I am looking at getting a 727 or a 657. why did you choose the 727 or 717 over a stander?

Here is a pic of the '04 737, I managed to talk them down to 5000 even, I think I got a pretty good deal, especially considering the shape the mower is in, what do you guys think?
