I have recently purchased this truck to run my Biz. with. It has every thing I was looking for in a work truck and more. Here is the thread on it (it has more photos). I started a thread because their are several projects I plan on doing for it. That I thought would be nice to up-date on the thread. Here is a link to it.

Looking good man i love that trailer. My first couple years i ran out of a 4x8 trailer and it suited me just fine. Im not excited to see my mpgs drop this year pulling an enclosed though. Good luck this season.

Thanks for taken a look. I know you want to doable in doing landscaping as well as lawn maintaince. There is a guy on here that I like to follow his landscape work. "WhiteGardens" Here is one of his threads.

The only landscaping I have done was a little patio for one of my clients, it is included in one of my albums. He paid me $500.00 plus he paid for all the materials. It took two days to install. It was a good experience for me and he has a couple other projects he wants me to tackle in the future.
I like to follow other landscape contractors on here to see how to do things right. On some of white gardens threads he will take you through his jobs step by step. I also have several books that take you through all the steps too. It is just nice to see when a contractor is doing it by the book.
I would like to learn the right way to do things. I have a nice yard that I will some day like to re-do all the landscaping.

It has been a while since I have been on here, but I am still busy working my lawn service. I did 45 accounts last year. This year over the winter I have lost about 8 accounts due to many different circumstances (Death, moving and dropped problem payers). Last season I turned away about 6 people because I am running solo and last season was the monsoon season from you know where.
So after such a rough summer and realizing that I really don't need to work that hard to get by. My wife and I have decided not to replace the customers lost over the this winter. I have been building a Jeep Cherokee and want to enjoy as many week ends camping, wheeling and just chilling.
Two years ago I bought a new Worldlawn 28" mower and have say it was one of the best moves I have done since I retired and made this my only source of income. So this season I went ahead and purchased another one. They have revamped this little machine. It looks like they really improved this little mower addressing quite a few things. I can't wait to put it through the paces.

Sorry I have been so absent, this site has been a really great resource for me at the beginning. I just got into 4x4 back country stuff and switch my interest to those type of sites instead.

Hope you all have a great year.

So it has been quite a while since I have posted on this site, I am still running my Biz. working on my tenth season. A couple years ago I was doing 45 accounts a week Solo. While the money was very good I was spreading myself to thin. and really did not get to do much.
When the housing market skyrocketed several clients cashed in on it and made the move to retirement housing and along with that several past away. this brought my numbers down to a more manageable #.
The following year my only commercial account also decided to sell his property and rent space in a professional building near his home. And we also had some more pass away, All along I have been turning away work as now we have 30 clients and I am looking forward to leaving this line of work in a couple years.
We have been able to take several vacations and I enjoy 4 Wheeling the rocky mountains every opportunity I get.
We now run the biz using a world lawn 28" walk behind and a 21" Snapper. Have bought 2 world lawns in the past 4 years and I must say the new model they came out with is a world better! Thought I would give those that followed me in the past a little up-date. Cheers! David
