I had ordered a set of Gator style blades from J-Thomas for my 36" Toro. I just found out from UPS that by the time I received them it would cost me over $80, by the time they cleared customs and I had paid brokerage fees and currency conversion. This is not feasible so does anyone have an idea of where to purchase in Canada - east coast preferably.

    Grass guy,

That is pretty steep, but let me explain why. You see because of the exchange rate these blades are each 36 inches long when they come out of the factory and then when they go across the border they have to grind them down to half their size. Sorry I dont have an answer for ya, but couldnt resist.

    Best of luck

I guess it does not have to be J-Thomas but a Canadian company who sells this type of stuff.
