I was going to order some blades from J-Thomas can't decide whether to get High Lifts, or mulching. In the picture they show the high lifts as having 3 holes, is that right? I used their standard lift blades b4 and they worked ok. I am looking for something that won't skip as much if I have to double cut. Right now the grass that gets pushed down from the tires doesn't get lifted back up by the blades to be cut a second time. I am also looking to reduce the size of my clippings and have them scatter better. Any suggestions on which type of blade to order? They are going on a 48" w/b.

I have thought about running doubles but don't know if that will work with only a 12.5 HP kawasaki. N e thoughts? How much more wear does it put on the spindles? There is no electric clutch its manual engagement

I just found that they have Wide High lifts as well. Any Experience with these? They also have mulching high lifts

Get them both and see what works best.
