was it in a cage or clay ball?I helped a guy do this last year it was alittle bit bigger than your by like a inch we put it on a sheet of plyboard and took a chainsaw cut a hole for the straps and hooked it up to his truck and then man handled it on the plyboard then pulled it to the location man handled it to where we wanted it

They're expensive because they are slow growing, olny as valuable as the owner deems them to be. I've cut several down that were replaced by cheaper material.Please excuse my ignorance for this question.. but I have been told that jap maples are an expensive valuable tree .. how true is this?
