Isn't that a dane super surfer with a deere 7 iron deck? If so I bet it's nice. I love my Surfer and hear that the 7 irons cut Awesome, Probably a good combo.

I think Great Dane was sold to John Deere.
I'm also happy with the cut. I have seen it being used on a property next to one I do.

I was going to buy another Ferris IS-1000 54 but I'm limited on Space in the trailer.

Plus the price of 5499.00 out the door sounds to be about right.

I have a 657 and I am impressed with it. The 7 Iron deck cuts really good.

I have 60in Super Surfer, I love it, with that deck and good dealer support you can't lose.

Nice pic of a great unit. I looked at them at the dealership and they look incredible. If they cut even half as good as the JD ZTR's I demo'd (and bought), you'll absolutely love it.

OK, forgive the question..but why buy a stander and not another ZTR? Space on trailer? Why would you make someone stand all day when they could be sitting on a ZTR?

I actually have used both extensively, And I feel that the stand up unit is actually easier on my back, I like the fact I can jump off if I lost it on a slope, and it's more compact (manueverable) than even a small frame ZTR, plus I like the visibility...I could go on.. BUT IF and only if I had football field size properties to mow EVERY day, I'd go for a 72"er and I don't think there is a stand up 72..yet

Mr. Mrc is yours a 54? that's a nice unit... Never mind I looked closer, that is a nice unit... only bad thing I see is no trim side.
