Was wondering how the JD 757 strips? Going tomorrow to order the mower.
Wondering if I should get the kit for it.
Those that have the 757 do you like it?

    Thanks

I have a 737 and i love it, stripes ok but wish i had a kit, not availible for the 54" deck, my cut still looks really nice, i also changed the blades and put on Gaters. :D

Ive got the JD 667 and it stripes well. A kit will help enhance the stripes. Really good thing to have if the grass is wet too! Id say get the striping kit.

We love our 757. I would definately buy a second one.

It stripes very well, in my opinion. A striping kit would enhance the stripes. I don't see myself paying >$300 for JD's roller though. I might pay in the $100's, but $300 is just too much for what it is. I personally would make my own striping kit.

Good luck with your new purchase, i'm sure you'll be very pleased with it.

mine has been great to me in the last season, i hope your dealer is as good as mine. that gives me a lot of piece of mind, priority service and if it were to end up in the shop for more than a day i know i could get a loaner.

    have a great season!! :cool2:

I just purchased the 757 mulch on demand deck. My dealer is ordering the roller for it. $325 here. Just bit the bullett. I also bought a 99 model 25hp walker with the 48" GHS.

I have a 737 and it srtipes ok but just attach a rubber flap on the back and it will stripe very well.. Like someone said you cant get a kit yet for the 54. At least you couldnt last year.
