I got an email this am.

They need to do something with their pricing. Not competitive at all.

What if the same company owns Tru Green and Lesco JDL?
Does that mean TG gets a discount--and none one else can buy at the same price?
    Preferential treatment?

Yes we saved $6 a bag on fert. We also bought $70k worth of material in 2012 and were getting shafted. I suggest you shop around.

Actually JDL has super low Prices CONSIDERING.

JDL/Lesco runs a 7/11 Convenience store marketing approach in the fact they have branches in almost every town. They also will spent time educating all customers including Harry Homeowner.

Of course having a JDL/Lesco store just a few miles away from me is luxury I enjoy and I am willing to pay for that convenience. However I buy the bulk of my material from a warehouse type operation that is 50 miles away and deliveries to all of South Florida at warehouse prices. They also deliver to the Golf Course down the street from me and a number of Citrus groves up road from me at the same time. Sorry no Harry Homeowner are buying from them.

PS. You don't have to be in this business very long to realize, Chemical companies are bought and sold like changing underwear.
