Bill, that is sad news. Didn't they give you any good stuff?
Yeah, man, I got oxycodones, but I'm just a lot more messed up than I thought that I'd be. It sucks too, because I was looking forward to going and I'm close, just not good enough for that long of a drive.
Your not really missing anything at that show. I went Yesterday and it seemed really small. It was good seeing Barry and a few of the other vendors i deal with but other than that it was bad.
They couldnt fill the Rittacco center.
Cool, thanks for the update. Are you located in Toms River? You blew my mind when you said Ritacco Center. lol
I am in Toms River
Bill, definitely missed you. Caught up with some old friends and made some new ones. The vendors that were there were helpful and appreciative. Lot's of discussion about the landscaper license bill, with some new and encouraging information.
Thanks man. Yeah it sucked but I just wasn't nearly up to it yet. Just now, I'm starting to feel a bit better. I'll tell you what, though...my shoulder must have been pretty f'd up because the procedure was supposed to be arthroscopic, but they found other problems in their that they couldn't see in the MRI's and there was nothing arthroscopic about it. I'm going to have a huge scar after it all heals up. The staples should come out next week.
Let me know if there are any other shows coming up in Jersey in the next few months and I'll be game for any of them. Again, thanks for the well wishes. I appreciate it.
Thanks for stopping by. Always good to talk with you. When you wife starts her new job and commute, treat her like a queen.
Thanks for saying hi . Wish we had time to talk.
Sorry to hear they had to use the chain saw rather than the scalpel on you. Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
There were more people at the show than in the past couple of years. I met a lot of new people & saw some old friends. From what I understand their were some good speakers & some interesting topics.
Let me know what would make the event better for you & I will pass it on to the organizers. I've already spoken to them about better presence on the Internet.
I hope to meet more of you at the NJ Landscape Association's trade show Feb. 25 http://www.njlca.org/pages/NJL2009Brochure.pdf
This is a good one, with lots of man toys to look at.
Barry, thanks for the tip and barring any outstanding circumstances, I will definitely be going to that one. Are you a vendor at this one, also.
Yep. We'll be there.
