    Just finished rehabbing the control system on a 16-acre sports complex. Biggest problem was the complete absence of weatherproof splices, both at the valves and on direct-buried (no valve boxes) "in-between" splices. I'm sure we didn't find all the in-between splices; will have to wait for the rest to go bad to find them (bless the man who invented the 2003 Pulser).

    I'll let you know in a few decades. Remember that valve boxes were around long before the waterproof connectors.
