    used to run a longer spindle bolt on tri-vantage, mostly for safety.

    sand blades for eXmark were pretty thin. Lots of aftermarket avail. No sail. not much drag or excessive lift w/2 per spindle.

    This is the JD owner's thread. What works for other brands really is irrelevant here.

    so how many have tries 2Xsand blades on a MOD

    There is a reason I'm switching I have have two other Deeres and one Ferris Deeres are the ****.

    They don't make a sand blade for a 7 Iron that I'm aware of. If you had paid attention to this thread at all, you would know not many run a MOD, and no one here has more experience with trying different options than I have. I've even ran Meg-Mo's to see if they'd help. Nothing does. 3" and below it is great. Over 3" and the stringers start and they are worse the thinner the grass gets.

    You likely not going to have stringers w/2Xblades per spindle at any height. Surprised no sand blades for 7 iron but if you doing your own mods on a deck, not hard to turn a Sail into a Sand

    I'm in Ontario Canada about 2.5 hrs north of the boarder all my cuts are 2”-3” depending on the clients needs.

    I already own the cage and use it daily on my Ferris.
