Looks just like the Rainbird 1" adjustable impacts we picked up today at Ewing... $115 each... gulp. Replacements were necessary because site guys had either dropped the original ones breaking them or as replacements for crappy WeatherTech impacts. When our new POs come in next week for the 2008 fiscal year I need to order about twenty of them.
I think that is smart, wrong way but smart if you're being lazy and cheap.
But did it work?
