I debated for 2 years on how to build a good trimmer rack that wouldn't damage my trimmers. After reading where so many of you guys preferred the Trimmer Trap, I decided to buy one. I got a TT2-Pro-4 from Power Equip. for $206 plus shipping. I now know why you guys like them. I can hold 1 stick edger and 3 trimmers or 4 trimmers. And they do fit like a glove. I suppose someone could remove 4 nuts and bolts and take them all at once, so I'll weld the nut to the bolt. I could build one just like it in my shop, but I'd rather be mowin. Anyways, it's a tax write-off. Oh yeah, I also bought 2 of the ST-1 Stihl backpack blower racks ($39.95 ea). Those would be really easy to build.

Good deal, but I have had troubles with my trimmer trap right now. It is rubbing off my grips on my Stihl edger, and I just bought a Stihl 110 trimmer and hopefully that will not kill those grips.

I had to weld my trimmer trap on to my trailer for two reasons,

    1) It would take to long to mount otherwise
    2) It is a sturdier mount that way

Do they make a rack to hold a backpack sprayer in the back of a pickup?

I've never heard of one. Trimmer Trap does makes a backpack sprayer rack. I think it's basically a pc. of 1" sq. tubing mounted vertically. It has a pc. of solid rod bent to hold the bottom of the sprayer and a short pc. to go thru the top to lock it. To mount it to a truck you need to bolt it at the base and up approx. 12" from the bottom. If you have side rails you could bolt in to them, that would take care of the upper part. I guess you could weld a pc. of angle iron to the bottom for a foot. Then drill a couple of holes thru the angle and thru the bed and bolt it down. Watch for the gas tank though.LOL.

Would you mount the blower to the outside of the bed or the inside?

You'll love the pro 4, I have one also. I also have the sprayer rack. I guess you could mount it in a pickup.
