This may be a STUPID question. What type of oil filter tool do you guys use? I can't get the normal plastic "socket" into the opening. I am going to auto parts store and was wondering what works best. This may only be an issue for the 2013 model, not sure. Thanks.

Try gripping with your bare hands. I rarely use a wrench. If its on really tight use a strap wrench you can thread around it. Worst case a giant pair of channellocks. Hand tight when putting new one on. Everybody seems to way overtorque them.

The way they designed the metal frame around the filter makes it very hard to even get your fingers around it, much less your hand. I tried several different tool at the parts store and ended up buying the wrench/plier style. It works ok. I guess if all else fails I can use the screwdriver method.
