Just took a major hit this week. 2 month old 20' enclosed trailer pack full of equipment. Fences and locks didn't stop them. I'm thinking the only way to really protect your stuff is with a tracking device. Any body using them? Brands, likes/dislikes, etc.

It seems most have things stolen in enclosed trailers on here.

Or just the whole trailer stolen. Local guy here that had an 18' box trailer stolen with 2 big ZTRs and all the needed hand helds.

Hope it was insured! Sorry to hear about this unfortunate turn for events. Hopefully the police catch them, i don't know Anything about gps tracking though. Everything I have just goes on my insurance policy.

POS people. So sick about how these punk a$$ jerks keep stealing people's hard earned belongings. Problem is even if they get caught they are back out in a yr never pay restitution never get publicly flogged. Time the courts start treating them like criminals. Liberals keep saying it's not about punishment it's about reforming them ! Bull sheet. The only way to reform these knuckle heads is by sever punishment. Water boarding thieves you betcha !!

The cheapest route I know to track your stuff would be to use an old phone (one with gps) and the ability to track it online. There are tons of websites that will show you different ways to use a phone for your tracking. Of course you can always go with an actual gps tracking device with a service but I don't know too much about those.

Was the equipment stored someplace like a storage yard?
