How many lawns (1/4 to 1/2 lot) do you think a crew could do a day with a 48in walk behind and a 36in walk behind. Both mowers will be hydro and two guys working on this crew. I am going to try and limit the rider just for the bigger lawns which I will be doing myself, while my other crew will be doing the smaller lots. So what I really am going to try and do is what Crew Cuts Enterprise did with having a mowing crew with walk-behinds. And Crew Cuts could you help me out a little bit here, Have lots of questions.

At 8 hours in the field
Throwing with velky- 15-18 per day
    Bagging- 12-15 per day.
I've never used 2 WB on a lawn before but trying to use my best judgement with what I know.

I would have said closer to 20 depending on how your guys hustle.

Depending on how close the houses are to each other and what the drivetime is will determine it.
This past season, Me and my helper were able to get 24 lawns done in one day. (8am-6pm) The largest lawn was about 3/4 of an acre. I was running a 36" exmark wb and a 52" bobcat wb. One of my stops had 5 houses at that stop. The stop after was less then 4 minutes away and that had 3 houses.

I agree it all depends on the route and the individual that are doing the work.
I think with a tight route and two good guys 15 or so.
