Does anyone know how I would adjust the air gap on the clutch of a Kawa 23?
Kawasaki doesn't make clutches.
Is either an Ongura, or Warne.
Ongura must be checked & adjusted.
Warne is patented automaticlly adjust itself.
What brand mower is it?
I adjust all them about .010, use two feeler gages at a time. Why are you adjusting it?
Ortega clutches at .25, Warrens aren't adjustable I don't think.
Warne patented clutches are self adjusting.
Ongura's should be air blown clean, and process of setting air gap is like that of ignition points (key switch off). Setting is 0.010-0.012.
Many clutches prematurely wear because they're either not burnished or not burnished correctly.
