My metro has a Kawi FC420V 15 hp engine on it, I want to use a canister type air filter on it instead, mainly cause I can get the donaldson filters for $4. each, but also cause they keep the engine running cleaner. Is there any version of the 420 that runs a canister filter? If not , I may just try to fabricate the pipe intake that mounts to the carb, but would rather find one to buy. Thanks

i have that same motor on my mower and i have yet to see one with the canister style filter

no canister filter. Don't forget, engines and carbs have to be calibrated for different air filter applications.

It is a Purolator filter/ number A42019

I have seen this same filter in Lanscaper Pro for $29.!!!! And it is exzzac
