I have a scag 36" WB w/ Kawasaki FC420V engine. It starts perfectly but when I go to shut it off with the key it doesn't stop the engine. I have to use the choke to kill the engine. Anyone had this issue before, and any ideas of how to fix?

Has it been working? There should be a black wire that has come undone, by the motor. Just hook it back up.

Check your connections from the switch back to the ignition you can hook up a jumper wire into one of those connections to kill it if it has a bad switch until you replace the switch. Just ground the kill wire.
