Does anyone know what the valve gap is for the FH500V??????
Valve clearence cold should be .004-.006"
The Service Manual states .003-.005 With each cylinder at tdc compression stroke. I prefer to adjust to the minimum to allow for more wear before adjustment is required again.
Huh, I was going off the big poster with all the engine info on it.
Also, wouldnt you want to adjust to the maximum to allow the most wear before adjustment is needed again?
The most wear point is the rockers and pivots, As they wear the valve lash increases.
I have seen Honda rockers wear so thin they collapse right in the center.
Myself I only go by the book, Don't do charts etc.
