My dealer informed me of this change. Anyone know about the KTF's?
I ordered another kgt27A online, from rcpw.com. I received a kgt27B. It is the same trimmer as the 27A except it has updated epa emissions for 2008.
The 27B power head looks a little different, but it is the same trimmer.
Due to the new epa updates, the trimmer has to sit and warm up before it will take any throttle. It also does not have the power of the 27a. I was very disappointed.
I have ran it for a couple of weeks to see if it would get any better but it hasn't.
Are they heavier?
I've used Kawasaki trimmers for 4 years now and think they're just about the best out there.......till now.
The changes required by the EPA will ruin them and they will become heavier and not run nearly as well.
If you can find a KGT27A model or even better still one on the older KBL26A models, buy em now!
They are 3 to4 oz more. I can't tell much difference.
I love the 27A but I won't be buying anymore 27bs.
Is this true? I was just about to buy one
The KTF replaced the KTR a year or so ago, both have cable shafts. The KGT is the solid shaft version.
I've got a KBL27B trimmer and it has never run good.
I've got two KGT27A trimmers and they're both awesome!
My KEL27B Edger is very good.
My KRB750B Blower absolutely rocks!
Well if the 27B's are like that, that may be enought to get me to go with the Echos I looked at
